How does the order process work?
When you see an item you want to buy, click on the "Add to Cart" button. This places the item in an electronic shopping cart and takes you to the "Add to Cart" screen. On the "Add to Cart" screen you can change the quantity. To place the item in the cart press the white "Add to Cart" button and your item will be placed in your shopping cart and you will be returned to shopping. If you press the "Return to Shopping" text at the bottom of the screen you will be returned to shopping without the item being added to the shopping cart.

After you've finished shopping, click on the "Checkout" button on the left side or on the bottom of the page. In Checkout, you will see a list of the items in your shopping cart and you will be able to enter the information necessary to process your order. When you have completed the entry, press on the "Proceed with Order" button. This may take a minute -- press only once. We will also confirm your order via e-mail within 24 hours.

Are credit card transactions safe? Yes! In fact, it's statistically safer to use your credit card over the Internet than in a restaurant or department store. Our Shopping Cart servers use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), an encryption technology that works with Netscape Navigator, Microsoft Internet Explorer and AOL's browser so that only the Island Emporium can read a buyer's personal information.

What is the return policy? If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, please email us at returns@island-emporium.com or phone us at (250)744-5026 within thirty days to make return arrangements . No hassles. No questions.

Can I cancel my order at any time? Canceling an unshipped order is easy. Just email us your order number at cancel@island-emporium.com or give us a call at (250)744-5026 with your order number and we will cancel the order. Your credit card will not be billed for canceled orders. If the order has been shipped then follow the return policy.

Can my gift be sent directly to the recipient? Island Emporium shoppers can ship gifts directly to their loved ones! During the Checkout process, simply indicate where you'd like your items sent.

Does The Island Emporium charge sales tax? The prices listed at the Island Emporium are the prices you pay. Any required sales taxes are included in the prices of the items found in the Island Emporium. When the product is shipped within BC the price includes provincial sales tax. When this product is shipped within Canada the price includes GST.

Can people outside the United States order from Island Emporium's site? The Island Emporium will ship anywhere in the world. A few locations outside of the United States or Canada my require additional shipping charges.

What forms of payment does The Island Emporium accept? The Island Emporium accepts Visa and Mastercard.

What are the shipping options? Isletech guarantees shipping within two business days on most items. Please be aware this does not mean delivery within two business days. It means your product will be shipped from our shipping facility within two business days. Standard shipping is done by ground. Please allow four to six weeks for delivery. Air shipping can be selected for an additional amount.

A Note about Product Availability Occasionally the item you select may not be ready for immediate shipment. In this case, we will notify you via e-mail that it is on backorder and do our utmost to fulfill the order as soon as possible at no additional charge. You will also have the option to cancel the order. You will not be charged until your order is ready to ship.
